Pelican remains my favorite band (hence my username). Their newer stuff isn't the best, but even if I only include everything up to "What We All Come to Need", there's enough to never get tired of it.
Australasia is the full-length debut album by Chicago post-metal band celvnamurozulumi.infoinfo was released November 4, on Hydra Head Records.. Guitarist Trevor de Brauw has noted that because of budget restrictions, the Australasia sessions had to be rushed. The studio was also under construction during recording and had a few impediments. It is for this reason that I feel "Australasia" is Pelican's finest album to date. It manages to combine all the other standout elements of other releases, making it their most interesting and varied release/5(29).
